Prepared for Ben

01

Ring-fence

Own what is yours.

Every frame provably John Dalia. Copies lose their power. The owner is protected, and so is the price.

02

Tell

Own the story.

The house speaks in its own voice at every one of 500 counters. Desire is built by John Dalia, not left to chance.

03

Return

Own the relationship.

The house knows its owners and keeps speaking to them. The first pair becomes the beginning.

Ring-fence Tell Return makes the story credible makes ownership mean something owners become the proof The house that leads.

A customer holds a John Dalia frame and taps the right temple.

Illustrative passport. The empty lines fill in over the life of the frame.

Illustrative. You decide what is sent, and when.

You put a chip in a frame before the industry did.

Ben, while most houses were still talking about it, John Dalia shipped it. NFC and blockchain, in the right temple of every Project frame. That took conviction, and rare foresight. It is the same mindset that built John Dalia: a house that looks further ahead than its industry.

  • The right temple. Where you put it first.
  • Titanium hinge

The idea was right. Now it deserves the finish of the frame.

A John Dalia frame goes through more than 100 steps in the hands of French artisans. 22-karat gold. Titanium. Platinum. Nothing is approximate.

The digital side of the frame should be held to exactly that standard. Seamless, precise, and worthy of the name engraved on it.

That is what we build.

The standard

How a great eyewear house becomes the house.

Your house says it plainly: the John Dalia standards have become industry standards. The frame is already solved.

We believe what decides which house leads the next decade of eyewear is everything that happens around the frame. And it comes down to three things, done together.

The framework

Each one feeds the next. Protection makes the story credible. The story makes ownership mean something. Owners who return become the proof, and the next customer's reason to buy.

Round it goes. Every turn, the house grows stronger.

Most houses do one.
A few do two.
The house that does all three leads.

Project showed you were already thinking this way. Now we build the whole of it.

The framework

A name this desired will be copied.

Copies of John Dalia frames circulate online, and they borrow the Project name to look convincing. You already know this. It is why you built Project in the first place.

Today every John Dalia frame carries an engraved serial number and a certificate of authenticity. We make both live. One tap, and the frame proves itself. The certificate cannot be lost, faked or quietly reused.

And when a frame changes hands, ownership moves with it, on record. A collector knows exactly what they are buying.

The house stays ring-fenced, frame by frame.

Pillar one. Ring-fence

500 counters. One voice.

“I’ve always designed eyewear first for myself.”

John Dalia, to Curated Optics

That is a story worth hearing. So is every one of the 100 steps behind it.

John Dalia is carried by more than 500 select retailers in 50 countries. Each of them is a great partner. Each of them also talks about a dozen other houses before lunch.

The tap gives every one of those opticians the full John Dalia story, ready the moment a customer lifts the frame. Told in John's words, not paraphrased at a counter. A frame that explains itself sells at its price.

The retailer keeps the relationship. John Dalia keeps the voice.

Pillar two. Tell

The sale is not the end. It is the introduction.

Today, the moment a John Dalia frame leaves the store, the house loses sight of it. Who owns it. Where it went. Whether they loved it.

With the passport, the owner stays within reach. A new collection. A collaboration like Jean Paul Gaultier. An invitation to Paris. A reminder that a frame this well made deserves care.

You know who owns your frames. They know what John Dalia does next. That is what brings them back for the second pair, and the third.

Pillar three. Return

You have done this once. No one knows more about it than you.

Before we propose anything, we want to learn from Project. Your experience is the most valuable brief we could ask for. We would love you to share:

  1. What you set out to achieve with Project, and what it achieved.

  2. Where the execution fell short of the John Dalia standard.

  3. How customers and retailers used the tap, and what they said.

  4. What exists today: the chips in the field, the system behind them, the data.

With that, we start from what you have already built, not from zero. Whether we build on the existing Project chips or begin fresh, we decide together.

Your intelligence

Built with John Dalia, not for it.

The framework stays fixed: ring-fence the house, tell its story in its own voice, and keep the relationship going after the purchase. Everything else we shape together.

Next, we would like a working session with you: a demo of the TrataTech product, and time to hear the Project story first-hand. A detailed proposal will follow separately.

Everything on this page is illustrative. Chip placement is always decided with John Dalia. The Project series already uses the right temple, and we would build on what works for your frames.
